Winter Session

13 Weeks - STARTS: JANUARY 2nd to MARCH 28,2024
The center offers several fitness classes that make exercise fun and beneficial. Our classes can be modified to almost any fitness level. The following classes are TWICE a week You must commit to both days.



Aerobics

Designed for older adults to improve their cardio-vascular system and increase muscular strength and balance with the use of free weights and bands.

Chair Aerobics

Designed for older adults to improve their cardio-vascular system and increase muscular strength and balance with the use of free weights and bands, while seated in a chair.

Body Strengthening

This class uses a combination of weights and bands in a variety of exercises (standing and sitting) to improve overall muscles strength, posture, and balance.

Fall and Balance

This class will provide activities designed to improve balance and safety awareness and increase core strength.

Dance Mix

A fun, energetic exercise program using upbeat, easy to follow dance steps that will include salsa and ballroom moves.

Zumba Gold/Dance Mix

Get in shape the Latin way! Using Latin music this high energy salsa style for a full cardio workout.

Yoga

This class will explore a series of poses that will enhance your physical and mental well-being. Bring a mat to class.

Tai Chi

A series of gentle exercises that creates harmony between the mind and body. Tai Chi strengthens both the lower and upper extremities along with the core muscles of the back and abdomen and boosts upper and lower body flexibility.
